What is a Hammertoe?

Hammertoe is a bending of one or both joints in toes.  This abnormal bending can put pressure on the toe when wearing shoes.  This can result in corns or calluses, which are a buildup of skin. This buildup can be on the top of the toe, at the tip of the toe or in between two toes.
